COMPETITION
There
& Back Short-handed Race
Belmont Yacht Club has had to cancel the 2008 race. We will be back in 2009!
The race is open to any sailing vessel and will consist of one
fleet with two sections. There will be a single-handed section
and a double-handed section. The race course will be along the
Chicago shoreline and will be approximately 47 nm in length. The
race will start near the mouth of Belmont Harbor at 08:00 CDT
and will finish by 20:00 on the same day. The finish will be at
the same location as the start.

Each year, the Belmont Yacht Club sponsors a Predicted Log Contest
as party of the series administered by Chicago
Yacht Club under the auspices of the North
